She is passionate about helping individuals and families navigate life’s challenges and build resilience in the face of adversity. Vanessa’s approach focuses on fostering strong interpersonal connections and creating a welcoming, supportive environment where clients can openly explore their emotions and experiences.
Vanessa integrates evidence-based therapeutic practices with a deep commitment to understanding the unique dynamics within each family and relationship. She is particularly passionate about empowering client systems to recognize their strengths and develop coping strategies that encourage lasting change and emotional well-being.
With a genuine belief in the transformative power of resilience, Vanessa works with clients to overcome obstacles and thrive in their personal lives. Her extensive background and continued professional development ensure that she is equipped to guide individuals and families toward fulfillment and growth. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree from University of Illinois and is currently completing her Master’s degree at Northwestern University in Marriage and Family Therapy. Vanessa has experience working with a variety of populations such as BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, youth with Autism Spectrum Disorders, and individuals from a variety of socioeconomic backgrounds.
