Chris is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a Master Degree from Northwestern University.  Chris has had the privilege of working with families for over a decade through several roles ranging from therapist, mentor, coach, and case manager. Chris believes people have the capacity and abilities to accomplish their goals but are often constrained by obstacles that prevent them from achieving them. Chris views families as the backbone of our society and in helping them maneuver life’s challenges, he hopes to alleviate some of our world's social problems.

Chris’ education, combined with his previous professional experience has allowed him to become a more effective listener as well as expanded his understanding of the human experience. His clinical training has equipped him with various modalities to help remove the constraints that impede human functioning.  His experience with systemic and strength-based approaches, as well as his character traits of being warm, genuine, and lighthearted, create a safe space for clients that welcomes change.

Chris knows first-hand  how important it can be to have a person by your side during trying times and it is his life’s purpose to serve in that capacity. His identities as a father, husband, coach and active member of the North Shore community make him relatable to a vast array of clients.

“When we hit our lowest point, we may be open to our greatest change. This is a lesson that I learned through experience. It is what introduced me to the people and organizations within the world of mental health- a world I fell in love with”.
